Crothersville Town Players will present their History Dinner Theater on Friday evening, April 24, at Hamacher Hall, 211 East Howard Street in Crothersville. The doors will open at 6 p.m.
The program, “Precious Memories,” will consist of presentations about several interesting individuals throughout Crothersville’s history, such as Elizabeth Bess and Bayou Bill Scifres.
“This is a bit different from previous history programs, since it spans Crothersville’s entire history,” said Brenda Holzworth, the organization’s president. “It has been a challenge to compile the material for this program.”
Along with the evening’s entertainment, those attending will enjoy a meal of green salad, ham loaf, scalloped potatoes, green beans, rolls, drinks, and desserts.
The cost is $15 for dinner and theater. Proceeds will go toward improving and maintaining Hamacher Hall and the Annex Building, and donations are gratefully accepted at any time.
Thanks to available funds and the work of Vaughn Isenhower, a new bathroom has been constructed in the Annex Building, said Holzworth
