Six members of the Crothersville FFA Chapter attended the 81st National FFA Convention held last week in Indianapolis. The members attended sessions with convention theme of “Step Up Stand Out”. There were nearly 55,000 FFA members from across the United States attending. Local members enjoyed a large career show, convention speakers, National FFA Officers retiring addresses, a concert from Taylor Swift, extreme bull riding, a tour of National Starch in Indianapolis, and a leadership workshop.
Those attending from Crothersville were Denise Maxie, Leah Schill, Kelsey Hoskins, Erica Doyle, Bailey Lundy, and Cody Brasher.
