The Friends of the Jackson County Public Library will have a Big Book Sale this weekend, April 29 – May 1, in the meeting room at the Seymour Library. Hours are Friday 4 – 5:30 p.m. (Friends members only); Saturday 10 a.m. -2 p.m.; and Sunday 2 – 4 p.m. Prices are $1 hardcover and large softcover books, 50 cents paperbacks, teen’s, and children’s books, $2 DVDs, $1 CDs and books on tape.
Book donations are very much appreciated to help stock both the Cellar and the Book Nook in the lobby. Drop them off at the checkout desks during regular Library hours. After your garage sale, bring those surplus books to the library!
Anyone interested in joining Friends will find applications at the Seymour, Crothersville, and Medora libraries. Annual dues are $5 individual, $10 family, $25 donor, and $50 benefactor
