Customers of the Jackson County Public Library in Seymour, Crothersville, and Medora have until this Friday, Dec. 17, to participate in this year’s Food For Fines program.
Donations of non-perishable food items collected in lieu of fines are given to the Human Services Food Pantry, Anchor House, and Community Provisions in Seymour, at First Baptist Church and the FFA/Fire Department drive in Crothersville and the Christmas food drive conducted by the Medora Christian Church. Due to the community need, donations from people without library fines are encouraged. These may be delivered to the checkout desks at any library location.
For more information about the Food For Fines program, contact the Jackson County Public Library at 522-3412, Crothersville Library at 793-2927 or Medora Library at 966-2278.
