NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of Crothersville Community Schools, that the proper officers of said school corporation will conduct a public hearing at 3:00 p.m. on November 25, 2025, at 201 S. Preston Street, Crothersville, Indiana, to consider the following additional appropriation in excess of the budget for the current year.
FUND NAME: Education Fund (0101)
AMOUNT OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION: $240,000
Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have the right to be heard on the proposed appropriation. The additional appropriation as finally made will be reported to the Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF) in accordance with Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-5.

Pursuant to 1.C. 36-7-4-920, the City of Salem, Washington County, Indiana (the “City”) gives notice of a public hearing to be conducted by the Board of Zoning Appeals (the “BZA”) regarding an Application for Developmental Standards Variance under the Salem Zoning Ordinance (the “Application”) submitted by Riley Kimsey (the “Applicant”) relating to the property located at 279 E. NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS REGARDING DETERMINATION TO ISSUE BONDS OF JACKSON COUNTY, INDIANA
The taxpayers of Jackson County, Indiana (the “County”) are hereby given notice that the County Council determined, at its meeting held October 15, 2025, to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $5,000,000 (the “Bonds”). The proceeds of the Bonds will be used to finance: (i) security cameras, printers, servers, scanners, laptops, community correction vehicles, health department vehicles, police vehicles, jail vehicles, animal control vehicles, office desks and chairs, monitors, copiers, voting machines, poll pads, safes, sidewalk and landscape projects at County facilities, office furniture and equipment, equipment for the EMS department, equipment for EMA, volumetric tank, and any and all other related equipment and necessary items for County offices; (ii) transaction expenses; and (iii) miscellaneous capital improvements, including but not limited to paving parking lot and interior painting at health department, parking lot improvements, renovation and/or equipping projects at one or more facilities operated or to be operated by the County, including but not limited to the Fair Grounds, and all projects related to the foregoing and incidental expenses in connection therewith, (collectively, the “Project”). The proceeds of the Bonds will also be used to pay preliminary expenses related to such Project and all related and incidental expenses incurred in connection therewith, and to pay the costs of selling and issuing the Bonds.
The proposed Bonds will have a maturity no later than 20 years from the date of issuance of the Bonds and will bear interest at a rate or rates not exceeding 6.5% per annum, the exact rate or rates to be determined by bidding. The Bonds will be payable from ad valorem property taxes levied and collected on all taxable property within the County.
