COMES NOW, the Scott County Board of Commissioners, and notices a hearing relative to allegations of unsafe buildings and structures at certain real property located at 3111 S. Big Ox Road Scottsburg, Indiana 47170, pursuant to I.C. 36-7-9 et. seq.:
1. The Scott County Board of Commissioners has scheduled a hearing in this matter for July 23, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. before the Scott County Board of Commissioners based on allegations that certain buildings or structures located on the real property located at 3111 S. Big Ox Road Scottsburg, Indiana 47170 are unsafe and require remediation and/or removal.
2. The record property owner Raleigh Neace is commanded to appear for this hearing address the allegations in a full evidentiary hearing. The hearing will be held July 23, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. at 1 East McClain Avenue, Scottsburg, Indiana 47170.
3. A failure to appear at the hearing could result in an Order to demolition and to remove the unsafe buildings or structures. The costs of demolition and removal could be assessed to real property and/or result in a lien or encumbrance against the property.
4. Any notifications from interested parties may be addresses to the Scott County Board of Commissioners at 1 East McClain Avenue, Scottsburg, Indiana 47170.
5. Notice has previously been provided to the record landowner by first-call mall and certified mail. However, due to no response on the previous notice, the Scott County Commissioners have determined to exhaust all possible attempts to notify any interested parties, including Raleigh Neace.
WHEREFORE, the Scott County Board of Commissioners commands Raleigh Neace to attend the hearing at the date, time, and location described above to contest the allegations.

Sealed bids will be received by the TOWN OF CROTHERSVILLE, acting by and through the TOWN BOARD (hereinafter referred to as “the Owner”), at 111 WEST HOWARD STREET, CROTHERSVILLE, IN 47229 until 10:00 AM local time, THURSDAY JULY 11, 2024 for the construction of 2024-1 CCMG PROJECT IMPROVEMENTS for the TOWN OF CROTHERSVILLE. THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF A UNIT PRICE BID FOR HOT MIX ASPHALT SURFACE OVERLAY OF PRESTON STREET, CROTHERSVILLE, INDIANA, AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS AND RELATED ITEMS.
After review and award of a contract, the Owner will provide a “Notice to Proceed” to the Contractor for the specific project. Contractor will then have 10 working days after said “Notice to Proceed” to commence construction and until November 30, 2024 to achieve Substantial Completion and December 15, 2024 to complete all work for the project. Contractor will be assessed $300.00 a day liquidated damages for any work remaining over and above either of the specified contract completion dates. Payment to be made on a standard monthly claim basis, with 10% retainage, and said retainage may be held up to three months after the successful completion of this contract. There is no retainage reduction for this project.
Copies of the Contract Documents are on file for review in the Office of the Owner (TOWN OF CROTHERSVILLE – Clerk Treasurer, 111 WEST HOWARD, CROTHERSVILLE, IN 47229).
