Notice is hereby given that the Redevelopment Commission for the City of Scottsburg, Indiana (the “City”) will receive proposals/offers for a public-private agreement to design and construct new residential subdivisions and preparing certain property for industrial development in a public-private partnership, pursuant to the applicable provisions of the Indiana Code, including, but not limited to, Indiana Code Section 5-23. Proposals in response to this RFPQ shall be received by the City via email at jstigdon@htllawyers.com until 2:00 p.m. local time on August 30, 2023.
The detailed Request for Proposals and Qualifications (“RFPQ”) and related requirements, terms, and conditions are available at City Hall, located at 2 E. McClain Avenue, Scottsburg, Indiana 47170. An electronic version of the RFPQ may be obtained by emailing Joshua Stigdon, City Attorney, at jstigdon@htllawyers.com.
Proposals/offers will be reviewed, and a recommendation to award the public-private agreement to a proposer/offeror will be given by the RFPQ Committee named by the City. The City will then determine, after a public hearing, whether to accept or reject such recommendation.
Any potential proposer/offeror may inquire further for the purpose of clarification to assure a full understanding of the requirements by submitting written questions to the City’s representative via email to Joshua Stigdon, City Attorney, at jstigdon@htllawyers.com.
The City reserves the right to reject and/or cancel any and all proposals/offers, to reject proposals/offers that do not meet the qualifications outlined in the RFPQ, and to waive any formalities or irregularities in the disposition process or in any proposal/offer.
