Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of Scott County, Indiana, that the proper legal officers of Scott County at their regular meeting place at Scott County Courthouse Annex, at 5:30 p.m. on the 13th day of June, 2023, will consider the following appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year.

Scott County Highway Department:

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard. The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of local Government Finance (DLGF). The DLGF will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.

WHEREAS, the Scott County Health Department is to provide various health services, including, but not limited to testing, certificates and immunization; and,

WHEREAS, the Scott County Board of Health is authorized to establish certain fees and charges for the vital records, testing and immunization services; and,

WHEREAS, the Scott County Board of Health desires to increase the fees charged by the Scott County Health Department for such testing and immunization, effective as of July 1, 2023

NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the County of Scott, Indiana, that the Scott

County Board of Health and the Scott County Health Department be, and hereby are, authorized to charge the following fees for services offered by the Scott County Health Department:

Birth Certificate: $10/copy

Death Certificate: $15/copy

Septic Installer Annual Permit Fee: $50 per installer

New Onsite Sewage System Application and Permit: $100
