LEGAL NOTICE

Dear Election Poll Worker’s,

Poll worker training will be held on November 3rd, 2022. We will be hosting two trainings that day at the Scott County Courthouse in the Commissioners room starting at 1:00 pm, and 7:00 pm. Please let me know what time you will be attending. It is mandatory for all poll workers to attend one of the trainings. Please bring a pen or highlighter with you to take notes. Instead of watching the videos during the training, I’d like for you to watch the videos at home before the meeting so that we can address any question during the time allotted for questions and answers. The website is https://www.in.gov/sos/elections/voter-information/pollworker-training-materials/. This video contains a lot of useful information from opening and 1 closing the polls to provisional ballots. If you have never seen this video or never worked the polls, I think it will help you through the process of working at the polls on election day. There all 8 chapters to this video. We will also be passing out the 2022 Indiana Election Day Handbook at the training. This book is a guide to running and election and has useful information. I will go over some of the information in the book at the training and I also advise that you read this book, before election day so that you will have a better process of understanding the instructions given during the training on the 26th.

If you have and question, please feel free to call me at (812) 752-8420 anytime during business hours or email me at michelle.shelton@scottcounty.in.gov.

Checks will be processed after November 18th, 2022.

If you are related to anyone one on the ballot, please let me know ASAP!

Sincerely,

Michelle Shelton

Case Number: V-08-22

Applicants:  Jason and Kimberly Gladden

Owners: Jason and Kimberly Gladden

Present Zoning:  A – Agriculture
