LEGAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that the Board of School Trustees of the Scott County District #2 School Corporation, Scottsburg, Indiana will receive sealed bids at the Scottsburg School District #2 Administration Building, 375 East McClain Avenue, Scottsburg, IN 47170 until 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time on February 2, 2022 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Envelopes containing bids shall be plainly marked “Bids – Network Equipment and Cabling Update”.” Bids received after the designated time will be returned unopened.
Bids will be considered for a contract for a project to supply wireless network equipment, network switching equipment, and UPS equipment at its eligible locations, and to supply and install structured cabling at its eligible locations.
A Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available through the following methods:
• In person at the office of Scott Borden, Director of Technology, Scottsburg, IN 47170, • Via email request to sborden@scsd2.k12.in.us,
• Via the USAC website, where the RFP will be accompanied by the appropriate E-rate Form 470.
Bidders must submit a hard copy of their bid and any required forms, AND an electronic version of the bid response (including any required forms) on a USB flash drive in a sealed envelope, with their firm’s name and address clearly indicated on the envelope. Note that FAXED bids are not acceptable and will be rejected as non-responsive. Bids are to be addressed as follows: Scott County District 2 Administration Building, 375 East McClain Avenue, Scottsburg, IN 47170, ATTN: Scott Borden, by 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time on February 2, 2022.
The Scott County District #2 School Corporation Board of School Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive informalities, irregularities, and errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law. This includes the right to extend the date and time for receipt of bids. In the event that a responsible bid is not received or if it is determined that the low bid received is too high, the bid received will be rejected and the project will be cancelled or re-bid. Bids may not be withdrawn during the sixty (60) day period immediately following the date of receipt of the bids without the consent of Scott County District #2 School Corporation.
