NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE CREATING FOUR WAY STOPS ON CERTAIN ROADS AND STREETS IN THE TOWN OF MEDORA, INDIANA
Taxpayers, property owners, and other interested parties in the Town of Medora, Indiana (“Town”) are
hereby notified that the Town Council adopted an ordinance creating four way stops on certain roads and streets in the Town of Medora, Indiana, on November 8, 2021. The effective date of the ordinance is November 9, 2021.
Section 1: The following intersections shall become four way stops, adding stop signs to all directions that intersect:
•Intersection of Scott Street and David Street; and
•Intersection of Jackson Street and Main Street.
Section 2: Any driver found to be in violation of this ordinance shall be cited and fined according to the following schedule:
•First offense: fine of $25.00;
•Second offense: fine of $50.00;
•Third offense: fine of $100.00;
•Fourth offense: fine of $200 and vehicle will be towed
Section 3: If any section, paragraph, clause, or phrase of this ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid, the remainder of said ordinance shall continue in full force and effect.
Section 4: All prior ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with any provision of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 5: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Town Council and publication all as by law provided.
ADOPTED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL this 8th day of November, 2021.

On November 9, 2021, the Scottsburg Redevelopment Commission (the “Commission”) approved and adopted its Resolution No. 2021-R-4 entitled “A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE PRIOR RESOLUTION OF THE SCOTTSBURG REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION ENTITLED “DECLARATORY RESOLUTION OF THE SCOTTSBURG REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION” FOR THE PURPOSE OF AMENDING THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN IN ORDER TO CREATE A RESIDENTIAL HOUSING PROGRAM, RESIDENTIAL HOUSING PROGRAM ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREAS, AND A RESIDENTIAL HOUSING PROGRAM ALLOCATION AREA” (the “Declaratory Resolution”). The City of Scottsburg Common Council and Advisory Plan Commission have passed, or are expected to pass, Resolutions approving the Declaratory Resolution and said resolutions have been, or will be, received by the Commission prior to November 30, 2021. On November 30, 2021, at 8:30 a.m. the Commission will hold a public meeting and hearing at Scottsburg City Hall, 2. East McClain Ave., Scottsburg, IN 47170 to do the following items:
Receive and hear remonstrances and objections from persons interested in or affected by the proceedings pertaining to the proposed Residential Housing Program or other actions to be taken under the resolution.
Determine the public utility and benefit of the proposed Residential Housing Program or other actions.
Review and consider the Tax Impact Statement related to the Residential Housing Program
Maps and plats and the tax impact statement have been prepared and can be inspected at City Hall. All persons affected in any manner by the hearing, including all taxpayers of the special taxing district, shall be considered notified of the pendency of the hearing and of subsequent acts, hearings, adjournments, and orders of the Commission by this notice.
On November 30, 2021, immediately following the public hearing, the Commission will consider a Confirmatory Resolution to establish a Residential Housing Program in the City of Scottsburg and take final action by either confirming, modifying and confirming, or rescinding the Declaratory Resolution adopted by the Commission on November 9, 2021.

Following the public hearing, the City will consider any input received and whether to award the public-private agreement(s) to an offeror and take such other action as shall be necessary or desired. The proposals received for the Project and an explanation of the basis upon which the recommendation is being made are each available for public inspection and copying at City Hall located at 2 E McClain Avenue, Scottsburg, Indiana 47170 during regular business hours.
