Notice is hereby given that the City of Scottsburg Advisory Plan Commission (the “APC”) shall hold a special meeting and conduct a public hearing on March 18, 2024, at 6:00 P.M., regarding a proposed text amendment to revise the schedule for permit and inspection fees for all zoning districts established in the Scottsburg Unified Development Ordinance in accordance with the provisions of IC 36-7-4-607. The meeting and hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers of Scottsburg City Hall, 2 E. McClain Street, Scottsburg, Indiana. A copy of the proposed fee schedule is on file for public examination during regular business hours in the office of the APC in Scottsburg City Hall. Written objections to the proposal that are filed with the secretary of the APC before the hearing will be considered. Oral comments concerning the proposal will be heard during the hearing. The hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.

Bids received after the specified date and time shall be returned unopened. No bidder may withdraw their proposal for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of opening.

Bids shall be submitted on forms prescribed by the Scott County Board of Commissioners, which may be obtained from the Scott County Highway Department. Each bid item shall be marked to correspond with this legal notice and shall be submitted separately. Each bid shall be accompanied by a surety bond or certified check in a sum equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid. Each bidder shall fill out a non-collusion affidavit as part of their proposal.

The Scott County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bids.
