The Muscatatuck Wildlife Society welcomes submissions from writers of all ages for articles focused on the Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge. Writers can choose their own themes but two options include “Why I go to Muscatatuck” and “Nature means a lot to me.”

Accepted submissions will appear in the Society’s quarterly DuckTales newsletter. We ask that children include their age with their article, drawing or photograph with a note from the parent or guardian giving permission to submit to the publication. We are happy to publish work anonymously if preferred by the authors over 18 or the family of minor-aged authors.

The nonprofit Muscatatuck Wildlife Society oversees the Refuge bookstore, holds events at Muscatatuck, and provides other services in support of the Refuge. Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated. For more information, please email bonnye.good@gmail.com or drop off at the Visitor Center bookstore.
