Josh Teipen, a 2003 Crothersville high School graduate, ran in the Indianapolis marathon on Saturday, Oct. 17. at Fort Benjamin Harrison Park. Over 6,300 runners and walkers from 47 states and six countries participated in the marathon, mini-marathon and a 5K.
Teipen ran the 26.2 mile marathon in 3:58:23 and was 313th our of 1,005 runners.
In addition to his extensive daily training, this year he has run in the Kentucky Derby Mini Marathon and several 5K runs in Jackson and surrounding counties.
