The Jackson County chapter of the American Red Cross will be hosting its second annual wine festival this Saturday, June 20 from 2-8 p.m. The event will be held at AEL BEKA Estates nestled in Jackson County. This southern plantation-style estate is located at 941 N Co Rd 250 E in Brownstown.
The annual wine festival will raise money for disaster relief funds. The event will feature food from local vendors, live music, and raffles, while showcasing many Indiana wineries. Sh/mokin Entertainment will be the event DJ and will provide a taste of blues/jazz music from 2 to 5 pm. Local favorite, Elements of Jazz, will also provide a variety of music from 5 to 8 pm.
Tickets can be purchased for $20 from the Red Cross office, 410 Indianapolis Ave. in Seymour, participating wineries, Hildreth’s Liquor Mart, Happy Herman’s, The Pines Restaurant, or at the event.
This year’s event will feature the following wineries:
Best Vineyards Winery (Elizabeth), Buck Creek Winery (Indianapolis), Chateau de Pique (Seymour), Carousel Winery (Bedford), Ferrin’s Fruit Winery (Carmel), French Lick Winery, (West Baden), Huber Orchard, Winery & Vineyards (Starlight), Mallow Run Winery (Bargersville), New Day Meadery (Elwood), Simmons Winery (Columbus), and Turtle Run Winery (Corydon).
