The first week of early voting for the 2026 Primary Election concluded Apr. 11 with very positive results, marking a successful rollout of the county’s new voting equipment, according to Jackson County Clerk Hope Cissna.
The Jackson County Clerk’s Office reported that overall feedback from both poll workers and voters has been overwhelmingly positive. Poll workers have noted that the new system is operating smoothly, while voters have expressed appreciation for the ease of use and efficiency of the updated equipment.
“We are very encouraged by the feedback we’ve received during the first week,” said Cissna. “Our goal has been to provide a seamless and accessible voting experience, and it’s rewarding to see that both our workers and voters are having a positive experience.”
Early voting will continue at designated locations throughout Jackson County. Voters are encouraged to take advantage of the convenience of early voting ahead of Election Day.
