The 16th annual Hope Medora Goes Pink cancer awareness & support fundraiser will be held this Saturday, Oct. 11, with a variety of health screenings and health information for attendees.
Food will be available throughout the day along with special events and entertainment.
A 5K Run/Walk will take place at 9 a.m. with Registration from 8-8:45 a.m.
A Cruise In/Car Show will take place Saturday morning.
A Baby, Prince & Princess, King & Queen contest will be held at Medora Christian Church.
Medora history buffs will enjoy viewing over 2,500 photos taken in the late 1800’s-1900’s from the collection of Joe Shields at 1st & George Streets.
There will be musical entertainment from the stage throughout the day.
“All of the event proceeds & 100% of all donations is given to those affected by all types of cancer,” said event organizer Debra Wayman, adding that the volunteer driven event is a 501(c)3 organization “HOPE Recipients live in all 50 states.”
