This weekend will be full of Halloween activities for all ages in Crothersville.
There will be a haunted hayride and glow walk this Friday and Saturday at the Countryside Park on County Road 1000 E next to the cemetery. (An appropriate location for a Halloween event.)
Hayrides will be on-going throughout the evening. The glow walk will have candy stations along the trail and glow necklaces will be supplied to youngsters. There will also be a bon fire and other activities going on. Food will be available.
This is a family event and parents should accompany their children.
The activities, hosted by the Town of Crothersville and the Crothersville Parks Board, will take place from 6 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
There will be no charge for the event, but a free will donation to off-set costs will be accepted.
Trick or treaters will be out & about this Saturday in Crothersville.
The town will officially hold trick or treat time from 6-8 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 29.
Residents welcoming costumed youngsters seeking treats should illuminate their front porch light during this time.
