The Crothersville Sesquicentennial Parade committee has announced the names of the Grand Marshals for the Parade scheduled to being at 4 p.m. this Saturday. They are the Senior Queen Candidates: Dora Dorsey, Madge Wilson, Eunice Lacey, Mary K. Rose & Virginia Donnell, also John Bard, a descendant of Charles Walter Bard (the first graduate from Crothersville High School), and the retired Teachers of Crothersville, who’s names will be announced later.
Mystery MC’s, calling themselves The Bobsie Twins, will be announcing the entrants as they travel through town. A reviewing stage will be located in the parking lot at Jolly Gibson’s Antique business at the stoplight.
Registration for the parade will begin at 1 p.m. at the Industrial Park, south of town. The Parade will begin promptly at 4 p.m. and travel from the Industrial Park to Hwy. 31, north through town and disperse at the Peoples Bank.
