As the 4th of July is on a Sunday, all governmental offices in Scott & Jackson County will be closed on Monday, July 5, for Independence Day.
Closings include the County Courthouses, annex offices, Austin & Scottsburg City Halls and Crothersville Town Hall and all libraries in each county.
All offices will re-open on Tuesday, July 6, at their usual times. In Scottsburg, trash normally picked up on Monday will instead be collected on Tuesday. Crothersville trash collection will occur on Tuesday as usual.
