There will be a free Covid and flu vaccine clinic tomorrow (Thursday) June 8, at Crothersville Town Hall hosted by the Jackson County Health Department. The mobile clinic will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“Everyone should get an updated Pfizer or Moderna Covid-19 vaccine, regardless of whether they’ve received any original Covid vaccines,” said Lin Montgomery, spokesperson for the health department.
“Updated Pfizer and Moderna vaccines offer better protection against Omicron variants.”
People age 12 or older can receive the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine while Children age 5-11 can receive the pediatric Pfizer vaccine.
In addition, flu shots will be available at the mobile clinic. Covid testing will also be available.
“Appointments are not needed but residents can save time by getting a time to be seen by logging on to www/ourshot.IN.gov,” said Montgomery.
