Flywheel Fund, in collaboration with SPARK Jackson County, has announced the establishment of a new venture fund aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and innovation within Jackson County. The fund has successfully raised $280,000 from 11 local investors, demonstrating strong community support and commitment to the region’s economic development.
SPARK Jackson County, a Jackson County Chamber initiative, is dedicated to providing support to local entrepreneurs, innovators, and remote workers, serving as an onramp to the broader ecosystem and helping transform ideas into thriving businesses. They provide this support through three key pillars: programming, coworking, and funding.
