Seven members of the Crothersville FFA Chapter traveled to Hauser High School in Hope to participate in District XI leadership contests last week.
“We took a very young group to contest. It is like our JV teams playing at a varsity level,” said local FFA Advisor Linda Maxie. “But the chapter was proudly represented.”
Those attending were: Drew Holm, 4th place Animal Science demonstration; Marissa Carter, essay; Madison Isenhower, Extemporaneous Public Speaking and quiz bowl; Deven Lemen, 2nd place traditional scrapbook, quiz bowl, and creed; Gaby Walters, 4th place freshman prepared public speaking; Derrick Maxie, Food Science demonstration and talent; Brady Riley, quiz bowl and 1st place Multimedia scrapbook and Advisor Linda Maxi
