On Saturday, May 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Crothersville Elementary will be hosting a Walk-A-Thon at the Crothersville Community Schools track. The event will help raise funds to keep two after-school programs available to local students.
According to Crothersville Elementary Principal Chris Marshall, “All federal funding for Girls Inc. and Boys Club, two very important after school programs, will be canceled this next school year if we can’t find funding.”
“As a community, we can help provide funding for enriching after school programs,” he said.
All donations will be accepted at the time of registration at the track.
