The Crothersville Elementary School will present its Christmas Concert on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. in the CHS Gym.
The Elementary Band will perform “Merrily We Roll Along”, “Good King Wenceslas”, “Jolly Old Saint Nicholas”, and “Beethoven’s Ninth.” The Elementary Choir will sing “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers” featuring the first grade students and “Jolly Jingle Bells.”
Third Grade Students will play “Jingle Bells” and “Jolly Old St. Nicholas” on the chromatic bells.
This years Christmas Play is “The Best Christmas Ever”. Students in grades kindergarten through five will perform. The play will feature members of the Elementary Choir.
Songs will include “The Best Time of the Year”, “Believe in Yourself”, “A Happy Holiday”, “I Love Money”, “Where Would We Be Without Christmas?” and the Finale “The Best Time of the Year.”
Admission to the concert is free. However, we are asking everyone to bring in one canned food item. This will go to support the Crothersville FFA Christmas Food Drive.
The Crothersville Elementary Music Department is under the direction of Peggy Adams and Joe Law.
