Five people ended behind bars last week on drug or gun charges,
On Monday, Feb. 28, Scott County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Christopher Cash, 48, of Columbus around 10:45 p.m. for possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance.
Anthony M. McGee, 30, of Clarksville was arrested by Austin Police officers around 2:50 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, for possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Around 7:20 p.m. that same day, Indiana State Police arrested Ryan Klein, 31, of Scottsburg for dealing marijuana, possession of marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance, and neglect of dependent.
Shortly after 11 p.m. on March 2, Austin police officer arrested Whitney Richie, 34, of Austin for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and public intoxication.
Summer Brooke Couch, 29, of Crothersville was arrested around 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 3 by Crothersville police for possession of methamphetamine.
