The Jackson County Recycling District will hold a document shredding and electronics collection this Saturday, April 23, from 9 a.m. to noon at ReMax in Seymour, 1403 E. Tipton St, between Pizza Hut and Verizon Store.
Documents to be shredded can include staples paper clips and file folder. No laminated plastic or binder clips will be allowed.
Electronics including TVs, computers, printers, copiers, DVD players, radios, CD players will be accepted for recycling. Microwaves can go in with your weekly trash collection.
A document destruction day will be held in Brownstown on Friday, April 29, from 9-11 a.m. behind Subway & Snappy Toms Pizza.
There will be a free landfill day for Jackson County residents only on Saturday, June 4, from 6 a.m. to noon. Passenger and light truck tires will be accepted. Farm, large truck and racing tires will be accepted for a fee.
