Scott County Deputies arrested four people last week on a variety of drug charges.
On Thursday, March 18, Deputy Charlie Morgan went to a residence in rural Scott County to serve an arrest warrant. Amanda Sue Miller, 37, of Underwood, was placed into custody on the outstanding arrest warrant for three counts of dealing in methamphetamine, two counts of possession of methamphetamine, in addition to an Orange County court warrant on additional drug charges.
On Friday March 19, Deputy John Hartman and several other deputies went to an address in rural Scott County to serve an outstanding arrest warrant. They located and arrested James Meredith, 35, of Austin on the outstanding arrest warrant for escape, fleeing lawful detention. During their questioning of Meredith deputies made additional charges of possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a syringe and possession of paraphernalia.
On Sunday, March 21, Deputy Johnney Coomer went to an address in Scottsburg to serve an outstanding arrest warrant. Brittany Gabbard, 27, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for possession of a syringe.
On Monday, March 22, Deputies Johnney Coomer, James Ward and Joe Guarneri went to a business in Scottsburg to serve an outstanding arrest warrant. They located and placed into custody Jennifer Chilton, 45, of Scottsburg on the outstanding arrest warrant for three counts of theft, two counts of deception, possession of paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance.
All were incarcerated in Scott County Jail.
