A meeting to discuss the future of Hamacher Hall will be held next Thursday, April 15, at 3 p.m. at the local history & arts venue.
“Members and leaders are needed,” said spokesperson Brenda Holzworth. “Meetings and events at Hamacher Hall will cease unless area residents volunteer and make a commitment to carry on these activities.”
The Crothersville Historical and Cultural Arts Association exists to promote local history and cultural events, and owns the former Presbyterian Church, renamed Hamacher Hall after Crothersville founder John Hamacher. The hall and adjacent annex building located at 209-211 East Howard Street.
“There has been some interest shown but more people are needed,” said Holzworth. “Our meeting April 15 will gauge the level of interest.
