Trick or Treat Night in Crothersville will be next Monday, Oct. 31, from 6-8 p.m.
Residents welcoming costumed youngsters seeking treats should turn on their front porch lights. For safety sake, trick or treaters should only go to homes that have their front porch light turned on.
Police urge parents to accompany children to see that they stay safe in crossing the streets. Masks and costumes may interfere with vision.
Police say parents should not allow youngsters to eat candy until it can be inspected when back home.
