A black halloween cat awaits the visits of young ghouls, ghosts, princess and pirates that will be roaming the streets of Crothersville on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. as the community observes trick or treat night. The event was originally scheduled for Oct. 31 but was moved due to anticipated stormy weather.
Area residents welcoming youngsters in costume are asked to turn on their front porch light.
Motorists are asked to us caution and enthusiastic costumed characters may not always look before crossing the street.
