Tickets are now available for the July 12 & 13, production of Piano Lessons at Hamacher Hall in Crothersville. Dinner and Theater will be presented by the Crothersville Town Players. The doors will open each evening at 6 p.m. with the program slated to begin at 6:30.
Piano Lessons is a comedy script about a husband who has been inspired to learn the piano after attending a piano concert. His wife Mary, played by Brenda Holzworth has her doubts that he is up to the challenge. A piano salesman, neighbors, and a piano teacher who is also a gypsy fortune teller lend an interesting variety to the cast of characters.
The salesman is played by Brayden Growe. The couple’s neighbors are played by Eunice Lacey and Sandy Law Jesse Law plays the role of Will, the inspired husband.
The one-act play was written by Don Quinn who wrote scripts for American radio comedy duo Fibber McGee and Molly from 1931 to 1950.
The pianist for the evening meal will be Marlin Adams.
The dinner menu planned for the evening will include; grilled chicken, a gratin potatoes, green beans, assorted desserts, iced tea and lemonade.
Tickets are sold for table seating and the tables will be decorated by area businesses, clubs and groups. Each table setting will include free gifts and specialty items from the table sponsor.

Tickets are $15 for the 3-course meal, live performance theater and gifts from sponsored tables.
The playhouse for the Crothersville Town Players is located at Hamacher Hall, 211 East Howard Street.
