The Crothersville 150th Sesquicentennial Celebration Parade will be held Saturday, September 13, beginning at 4:00 pm. Entry forms will be availbel beginning next week with all the details on the line up and registration.
“Our Parade will feature participants from all over Southern Indiana exhibiting their antique vehicles, floats, walking and riding units,” said parade master Cheri Dorsey. “If you have anything you feel the crowd may enjoy or you may want to share to help celebrate our towns 150th birthday, please feel free to join us in this great celebration.”
The theme for the parade is “Crothersville, 150 years of Yesterday, Today and our Future Tomorrows”. Some of the parade sponsors so far are the Crothersville Lions Club, Community Foundation of Jackson County, Crothersville Area Revitilization and Development (CARD), Wilson Lawn Care and Dorsey Plumbing.

Dorsey and her committee would like to invite anyone who is of the grand age of 80 or older, resides in Vernon Township, to be the parade Grand Marshals. If you have a family member or a friend that would like to ride in the Parade and help represent our town, please contact Dorsey with their names and contact information.
