The Crothersville Senior Center annual Fall Breakfast will be held this Saturday, Sept. 28, with serving from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m.
On the menu will be eggs, smokey links sausage, biscuits & gravy, fried potatoes, fresh fruit, coffee cakes & other sweets, coffee, tea, juice and milk. Free will donations will be gratefully accepted.
The Crothersville Senior Center is located at 114 E Main Street just west of the Crothersville Library. All proceeds from the breakfast will benefit programs offered by the center.
Due to recent budget cuts the Crothersville Senior Center’s hours have been reduced from 5 days per week to 3 days per week.
“This year our breakfast fundraisers are more important than ever to help keep us operating,” said site director Sue Walther.
Working in partnership with United Way and Thrive Alliance (formerly Aging & Community Services), the Center offers resources that help seniors discover their own strengths and enable them to maximize their independence by living better, healthier lives.
