Due to the recent closure of the Crothersville Senior Citizens Center because of dwindling attendance meals will no longer be served at that location.
Seniors who made use of the meal site have been notified and have been offered the opportunity to register for home delivered meals, according to news release from Thrive Alliance of Columbus.
Thrive Alliance is planning to open a new congregate meal site in Seymour at 200 E. Third St. across from the Seymour Police Department in August. That new meal site will be available to those who previously attended the Crothersville site.
