The Crothersville Middle School Baseball Team is only in its second season on competition and the team has improved immensely this season, according to Coach Scott Ferguson. “These young men continue to work on their game and most of all enjoy the game. At the beginning of the season we implemented “Tiger Pride”. Tiger Pride means taking pride in yourself, your team, and your community. These young men have taken that challenge, and lived up to it. We are building a winning program at Crothersville from the lower grades to high school.”

He added that the Crothersville Youth League is doing a great job preparing these young men for Middle School, and the job Coach Bray is doing for the High School is outstanding.

“We are building for the future, and appreciate the support from the community,” he said

The 8th grade members of the team are Blaine Lewis #15 son of Derick and Ashleigh Lewis, Chase Roberts #13 son of Jay and Amber Roberts, Cain Stidham #9 son of Tanya Stidham, and Kayleb Clayton #19 son of James and Amanda Pruett. These young men will be competing on the CHS baseball team next year.
