Holiday events for Crothersville have been announced by a number of sponsoring organizations.
The Crothersville FFA Christmas Craft Bazaar will be held at school on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Also that day Aunt Samantha’s on US 31 across from The Peoples Bank will hold a Holiday Open House from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A community Thanksgiving Service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 23, at 7 p.m. at Immanuel United Church of Christ at the corner of Howard Street and Kattmann Ave. The event is sponsored by the Crothersville Area Ministerial Association.
Aunt Samantha’s will hold another Holiday Open House on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
At 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 3 there will be Cookies & Carols at Hamacher Hall 5:30 p.m. followed by the community tree lighting with Santa at 6:30 p.m. at the Stoplight Corner. The event is sponsored by the Crothersville Town Players & Crothersville Lions Club.
The Crothersville Elementary Christmas Concert will be Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. at the school.
The annual Crothersville Senior Citizens’ Christmas Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8.
“Winter Fancies” the Poetry of James Whitcomb Riley will be performed by the Crothersville Town Players at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10.
The Crothersville High School Holiday music program on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 3 p.m.
