The spring installment of the Greater Crothersville Community-Wide Yard Sales will be Saturday, May 2, according to Curt Kovener, editor of the Crothersville Times, the sponsor of the twice yearly event.
Residents wishing to take advantage of the free advertising can have their name and yard sale location published at no charge in the April 29 Crothersville Times.
To have your yard sale listed, call the Times at 793-2188 & leave a message with the newspaper’s electronic secretary. Or e-mail your name and yard sale location to ctimes@crothersville.net.
The deadline for submitting yard sales will be 5 p.m. Friday, April 24.
The Times and Scott Memorial Hospital will be partnering that day to hold two events. The Austin Rural Health Fair will take place the same day at the Jennings Township Fire Station in downtown Austin.
