The 2013-2014 Crothersville Tiger basketball season is just around the corner and the Crothersville Chapter of the National Honor Society is looking for Tiger Backers. It is hoped that community members will continue with their generous support and become a Tiger Backer again this year.
The money raised from Tiger Backers and advertisements help to pay for the costs of the basketball program and NHS events, said CHS NHS sponsor Joyce Howell. One of the activities the NHS members participate in is cooking breakfast for the local senior citizens.
To become a Tiger Backer, donate $10 to the NHS at Crothersville High School. Donors’ names will be printed on the back of the CHS Tigers basketball program in recognition of their support.
