The Crothersville High School Music Department will present its annual Christmas Concert “The Bells of Christmas” on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 3 p.m. in the CHS Cafetorium.
The Junior High Band will begin the concert with “First Christmas Overture”, “It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”, “Carol of the Bells”, “Christmas Dreams”, and “Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer.”
The High School Band will perform “And All The Bells Shall Ring”, “The Legend of Greensleeves”, and “Feliz Navidad.”
The Middle School Choir will sing “Jolly Jingle Bells” and “Jingle-Bell Rock.” The Boys Ensemble will follow with “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day.”
Next, the Women’s Chorus will perform “Kling Glokchen!” with Drew Holm on the bells, and “Ding Dong Merrily on High.”
The Advanced Choir will perform “Sing We Noel” with Drew Holm on the bells, and “Silver Bells” with Alexandra Smith on the celesta.
The Concert Choir, which includes all choir members, will perform “Caroling, Caroling”, “Carol of the Bells”, “O Come All Ye Faithful”, “The Messiah Has Come Medley”, and “We Wish You A Merry Christmas.”
The Concert will conclude with the CHS band members joining the choir on stage with “All Is Calm.”
Admission to the concert is a canned food item that will go to support the Crothersville FFA Christmas Food Drive.
