CARD (Crothersville Area Revitalization and Development) is planning a Harvest Flea Market in connection with the greater Crothersville Community Wide Yard Sales to be held on Saturday, Oct. 2, from 7 a.m. to Noon, at the Crothersville-Vernon Township Fire Station.
“Community Yard Salers are encouraged to check out the Flea Market for a variety of items, as well as to purchase rolls, breakfast beverages, and soft drinks,” said Brenda Holzworth, CARD spokesperson.
Vendors may contact Cheri Dorsey at 793-3389 for further information or applications.
Future seasonal plans have also been made by CARD to participate in the Community Trick-or-Treat, and to conduct the annual Pictures with Santa and Tree Lighting Ceremony with caroling and drawings for gifts.
CARD’s next meeting is September 20 at the Crothersville Library at 5:30. Interested community members are invited to attend to offer input and assistance with projects designed to benefit the Crothersville community.
Funds for CARD are administered by the Community Foundation of Jackson County.
