Crothersville-Vernon Township Volunteer Fire Department honored their own for outstanding service during the department’s annual holiday and awards dinner held at the fire station Sunday evening.
Matt Browning (in red award jacket) was named Firefighter of the year and B.J. McLain (in blue award jacket) was named EMS First Responder of the year. Making the presentations were Fire Department President Marty Hoevener (left) and Fire Chief Charles Densford.
