Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E&B Paving, Inc. is scheduled to close State Road 160 approximately 6.6 miles east of Salem this week to complete a box culvert replacement project in Washington County.
The closure will take place on S.R. 160 between South Boston Pekin Road and South Franklin School Road in South Boston and is expected to reopen in early June, weather permitting. During the closure, motorists should use the official detour which follows S.R. 60/Salem Bypass to S.R. 56 to I-65.
This work is part of a contract awarded to E&B in September 2024. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
