EVAN STEWART
A 22-year-old Shelbyville, IN man has been arrested in connection with a pair of bank robberies in Jackson County on Aug. 28.
Evan Stewart was arrested Wednesday, Sept. 3, by Forest Park, Ohio police and is being held at Hamilton County Justice Center in Cincinnati. Stewart is accused of bank robberies that occurred in late July in Forest Park and Clifton in the Greater Cincinnati area. He is also the suspect in two bank robberies that occurred in the Louisville, Kentucky area in early August as well as robberies at Seymour Credit Union and the Peoples Bank in Crothersville in late August.
Formal charges of robbery are expected to be filed against Stewart in Jackson County.
