Nature’s true colors of fall reflect through the still water of a southern Indiana woodland pond. The hills and knobs of Jackson County are becoming flush with nature’s palate in the coming weeks of October. The county’s three fall festivals—Seymour’s Octoberfest this weekend, Houston Fall Festival on Oct. 10, and Ft. Vallonia on Oct. 17-18—will give opportunity to drink deeply of the sights and flavors of fall.
