Austin and Scottsburg city residents will vote for mayor, clerk-treasurer and city council representative on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
In Austin it will be a re-match of 2019 in the race for mayor with incumbent Democrat Roger Hawkins being challenged by Republican Jonathan Lee White.
Incumbent Democrat clerk-treasurer Chris Fugate is facing a challenge from Republication Lonnie Noble Sr.
Trevor McIntosh and Brandon Glenn White, both Democratic incumbents are seeking another term as At-Large city council members. They face a challenge from lone Republican Bill Hill.

In the District 2 race, incumbent Democrat Joe Smith is being challenged by Republican Norma G. Morris.
There will be a new person on the city council representing district 3 with Democrat Staci Mullins and Republican James Shelton facing off in that race.
In Scottsburg it will be a rematch from 2019 in the race for mayor with incumbent Democrat Terry Amick being challenged by former Republican Mayor Bill Graham.
Incumbent Democrat clerk-treasurer Jan Hardy faces no opposition in the Nov. 7 election.
Two Republicans face no opposition in their bid to be on the city council. GOP incumbent Christian Evans is unopposed for the At-Large council seat and Republican Timothy L. Hall has no opposition for the District 1 council seat.
Incumbent District 2 councilman Bill Hoagland, who was elected as a Democrat is now running as a Republican to continue to represent Dist. 2. He faces a challenge from Democrat Richard Cozart.
Democrat Mark Nicholason and Republican Monty Stutsman are seeking the Dist. 3 council seat.
Democrat Eric Lowry and Republican Kevin S. Smallwood are seeking the Dist. 4 city council seat.
