When police arrested an Austin man on Saturday on a Clark County warrant for driving while suspended, authorities say they found a variety of drugs.
Willie ‘Mater’ Vires, 37, of South 3rd Street in Austin was arrested at his residence shortly before 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, by Indiana State Police officers.
As troopers served the Clark County warrant, they found methamphetamine and marijuana in Vires residence.
In addition to the Clark County charge, Vires was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance.
He was incarcerated in Scott county Jail.
