Samuel Tyler Green
Thursday evening, July 10, the Austin City Police Department and the Scott County Division of Child Services responded to a report of a three-year-old child that had been battered allegedly by the mother’s boyfriend. The child was evaluated by medical teams from the Kosair Children’s Hospital and the University of Louisville Hospital because of the injuries sustained.
After speaking to the boyfriend, Samuel Tyler Green, 21, from York Road in Austin, authorities placed him under arrest. Green was incarcerated at the Scott County Jail on felony charges of battery involving a child with serious bodily injury and neglect of a dependant.
Police reported the investigation is continuing.
