Scott County Sheriff’s Deputies received a tip last week of dealing and manufacturing marijuana products in an apartment complex on Red Oak Way in the near northside of Austin. Candy laced with marijuana were allegedly being made and sold, according to Scott County Sheriff Jerry Goodin.
Deputies Joe Baker and Rex Herald visited a residence located at the 204 Water’s Edge Apartments on Monday, Jan. 28. That visit resulted in nearly four pounds of marijuana and alleged marijuana edible candies, being located, Goodin said.
Austin Noble, 19, was charged with possession of marijuana and incarcerated at the Scott County Jail.
Goodin said that the investigation is continuing with possible further charges after the case is reviewed by the Scott County Prosecutor’s Office.
