“Hamacher Hall is going to be the site of our biggest and best craft show to date,” said Brenda Holzworth, President of the Crothersville Historical and Cultural Arts Association. On Saturday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., those attending may select from ten vendors with a wide array of quality craft items. Featured will be barn quilts, purses, jewelry, soaps, candles, woodcrafts, and needlework.
Food will be available for purchase throughout the day, and a table of flea market items will benefit the association. A drawing for a beautiful purse will be held at the conclusion of the event.
Tickets for the drawing are available now from members and friends, at $1 each or 6 for $5. A photo of the purse may be seen on Facebook and at other sites in the area.
Hamacher Hall, the former Presbyterian Church, located at 211 East Howard Street, is the playhouse of the Crothersville Town Players. The Players look forward to their History Dinner Theater on Friday evening, April 17, in which characters from Crothersville’s past will be portrayed. Funds received from all events are used to improve and maintain the facilities, and donations are tax deductible.
